Twitter is Evil & Here’s Why
It’s impossible to configure your Twitter settings in a way that will result in your account being ‘clean,’ but it is possible to make it unviewable by others. Here’s how you can get the most out of Twitter, and where you should put your efforts.
To be more precise, you can make your Tweets visible only to yourself, while the rest of your account’s information is private. To do this, you’ll need a third-party Twitter client that is capable of allowing you to do it. I recommend Tweetbot because it’s free and available for Mac and iOS. Here is a guide on how to set up Tweetbot so that your tweets are only visible to you.

Twitter Censorship: What Can We Expect in the Future?
If you are a victim of Twitter censorship and need to reach me for assistance, send a direct message via Twitter to @DoNotDisturb. I will quickly respond to your message.
If it doesn’t work, tweet at me with the hashtag #DoNotDisturb and @ImNoStupid. I am willing to take this conversation public if you want me too.
There are a lot of people out there that are feeling frustrated by Twitter’s recent censorship tactics, myself included.
Recently, the hashtag #TwitterCensorship was created to expose what many believe is Twitter’s blatant censorship of opinions that do not align with their own values.

How To Deal With Twitter If You’re Banned Or Shadowbanned
If you’re banned from Twitter, there’s a few things you can do to get your account back. Use the login for Disqus.com that is connected to your Twitter account, go here and click the “Request Revoke” button at the bottom of the page. Follow the instructions and request your account be un-banned. If they don’t reply to you within a week, give them a call.
The same method can be used if you’re shadowbanned: first use the Disqus login for Twitter and send them a message on their support thread about your situation. Follow the steps that show up there and request to be unbanned. If they don’t reply to you within a week, give them a call.
If neither method works, then I would just wait it out and see what happens. Twitter will eventually get around to either un-banning you or unbans you.
Remember, if you use Disqus when banned or shadowbanned on Twitter, your profile page won’t be affected. Disqus’ ban protection only affects the URL of a Twitter account. You can always log back in to your account and edit the URL of your profile to point at your main website (disqus.com/twitter).
