Explain what a review card is and how it can help
Leave a review card is a card that you leave on the desk or in the mailbox of someone who leaves their contact information at home, work, or at the business they frequent often. It’s one way to interact with your community and get feedback on where they should go in town. Even if you have a Facebook page or website, leaving review cards can help you get more interest from the community.
Review cards can be a very simple but important way for residents to get to know about your city better and what makes it a good place to live. These materials are usually in the form of small cards or flyers and they can be used by any city, county, state or federal government. They should be left at places of business, near libraries, parks, recreation centers as well as individual residences. They should also be printed in more than one language so that everyone has the opportunity to take advantage of them.

Give an example of a review card
The review card I have is very simple. I have the name of the business and what they do written on the back of it. Sometimes, if I have something that’s hard to spell, I write it out in case they don’t know how to spell correctly. The reason that I do this is because people don’t always write their name correctly on cards. If they leave reviews and we get their information wrong, then someone could possibly start a bad report about us. Since our company is small, I want to make sure that we’re on the right track.
To show you what the back of my review card looks like, here’s a picture:

How to leave a review card
The point of leaving review cards is not to drive traffic. Review cards are useful if we see someone that comes in often or makes a purchase for the first time at our establishment. We also leave these cards if we’re out and about and see someone from the community that we can have a conversation with. The point is not to drive traffic. The point is to interact with the community. We’re trying to build a relationship with them so that if they want to come in more often or make more purchases, we can accommodate them. If we don’t interact with them and they don’t interact with us, they’ll lose interest in our store.
So how do we leave these cards?
1) Smile and make eye contact. Most people aren’t used to being greeted by their local business owner. They look at us as if we’re a stranger and think that they can stop by whenever they want without an invitation. That isn’t fair to them or to us. We want them to feel welcomed here, so our first course of action is to smile and make eye contact with the person.
2) Show authentic interest in them and their life. We want to know them, so we need to engage in friendly conversation with them. They’ll be more likely to respond if they feel that we care about them and their business.
3) Just say “Hi!” – There’s really nothing else I can tell you other than this. It’s that simple. Just say “Hi!” It isn’t hard.

What to do if you have a bad experience at a business
If you have a bad experience at a business, do not leave a review card. It’s not worth it. If someone does something that makes you upset or feel uncomfortable in any way, do not give them your information or leave a review card for them. It’s better to cut ties than give someone your personal information and leaving them to get back at you. If they already have your information, then there’s nothing that you can do about it. You just have to take the bad experience as it comes.
If you want to leave a review without leaving your information, there’s a good way to do it. Try to come up with an artist name and give them a fake email address. Make sure that the email address is something that they wouldn’t recognize by looking at it. If there’s no artist name, then just make up an artist name. If there is an artist name, then be sure to use that artist name in the review.
There are some artist names that are accepted and reviewed. You can try to use one of those artist names and it may be what you need to show that the review is a legitimate review.
