What is vonage mobile and how does it work
Vonage is an American telephony company. One of its mobile services is Vonage Mobile, which offers the ability to call from a smartphone or computer and make phone calls to landlines and cell phones in the United States. International long distance are also available at no extra cost. Vonage mobile works via a downloadable app that works with Android and iPhone smartphones, and Apple products such as the iPod Touch and iPad.
There is no additional cost to use the Vonage Mobile service, however telecommunications fees from your carrier will apply (i.e. international long distance or local calls).

How to make a video call on vonage mobile
Making a video call on Vonage Mobile is similar to making a voice call. On the iPhone and iPod Touch, for example, launch the Vonage Mobile application and turn on the camera by swiping the screen from left to right. Then tap on the “+” button and follow the prompts to enter the phone number of the person you are trying to call.
But once you’re on the call, you can tap on the camera icon to switch from voice to video mode. You’ll see a red bar appear along the bottom of the screen indicating that video is active. At that point, you can switch back and forth between calling with voice and with video by tapping on the camera icon. (The video option won’t appear if your recipient doesn’t have Vonage Mobile. You can call regular Vonage numbers with video, but not vice versa.)
You can also end the video call by tapping on the video icon. Again, this option won’t appear if your recipient doesn’t have Vonage Mobile.
How to send a text message on vonage mobile
Sending a text message from Vonage Mobile is simple and can be done from the Vonage Mobile app. All that is needed to do this is to enter the person’s phone number, write the message and press send. Note that free texts only go to US mobile numbers. The amount of texts that can be sent is capped at 3000 per month. If the number is not a US mobile number, the text will not be sent. Those who exceed the 3000 texts per month can still send unlimited texts to US mobile numbers.
To send a text message on Vonage Mobile:
1. Open the Vonage Mobile app and tap in the Messages tab.
