Paint Tool Sai is a great program for digital artists, but sometimes it can be frustrating when it fails to save your work
So, what do you do if you need to create a second canvas? There are two options. The first is to use the duplicate function. If you click on Edit -> Duplicate Canvas from the menu bar, Paint Tool Sai will create a second canvas and will continue to save your work in the original.
The second option is to open up Paint Tool Sai, save your work on top of the original canvas and then close it. Name the new file with a title that indicates you have created a duplicate and paste your image in there. When you reopen Paint Tool Sai, all of your work will be there, in the new file that you created.

There are a few things you can do to try and fix the problem and save your artwork
If for some reason Paint Tool Sai failed to save your artwork, you may want to try doing the following things: – Try using a different type of file. If it keeps failing to save, try getting a different type of file (e.g., png or jpg) – Try using the “Paint” command instead of clicking on Edit -> Paint in your menu bar. This will save the file, but it may take a bit of trial and error to get it (and other programs) to read your file. – Try using a different program for your art, such as Sketchbook Pro or Photoshop. Sometimes other programs will be able to open and read a file from Paint Tool Sai without any problems. – Update your paint tool sai software by following this tutorial: http://www.gimpusers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46545 – Use an alternative Paint program, such as Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Flash. If none of those work (or if you are stuck with Paint Tool Sai), try asking a friend or someone on the Internet, but be sure to ask a trusted person and don’t post anything that could be used against you.

If all else fails and it seems like your work is lost to the digital world, there are ways to try and recover your work. In GIMP you can import the file, which will show up in a new window with “paint tool sai” in the title. Once you have it open, you can use the “undo” command and try to recover as much of your work as possible. In the end, it is best to save your work often and always keep multiple versions of your work.

So, no matter which way you choose to go about getting back your work, it’s always good to back up everything so that if you lose your work you can recover it easily!
