Introduction: What is the new global update on Instagram?
In order to make Instagram more interactive, it is now possible to see the photos people have shared publicly in your feed. This upgrade may seem minor but its impact extends beyond just displaying pictures: it also automatically hides posts that people didn’t tag you in or that you haven’t favorited. Getting to see posts that you missed may seem nice and all, but if you have liked a picture that someone else, maybe an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend or someone you disliked, put online then there is no way for you to unhide the pictures other people put on Instagram. You will only be able to see the pictures that are publicly visible, so as a result you will not see any of your friends’ pictures. This may sound bad but it allows you to get rid of any unwanted pictures other people have put up and decide for yourself if you want to see them or not.
