What is Notetit?
Notetit is a web-based tool for taking notes that uses Markdown. It’s designed for people who write in the browser, which means it’s fast and free whether you use it at work, school, or at home. Here’s how it works:
1. Create a new note and start typing
2. Click in the toolbar to create new headers, lists, and sublists.
3. Type to create your notes.
4. Click on the toolbar menu (on modern browsers) or “Edit” on older browsers to see a preview of your note. You can then edit the note using the same functions you’d use in any text editor, including turning it into a web page (see below).
5. When you’re done, click “Create Note.html” to save your notes as a web page, or click “View Note.html” to preview the note source.
5. Review your note for errors and other problems, then click “Publish Note.html.” Your note is instantly posted to your own personal Notetit blog (note-giveaway-full-free).

Capture Notes on the Go!
Notetit is built around a simple, no-frills interface. You can use it on your phone, tablet or desktop computer. That means you can capture notes while having coffee, running, walking or doing laundry. Just open Notetit and type your text and any links you want, then hit “save.” Once you’re done with your note, close the browser. It’s that easy!
This is a screenshot from Notetit.com, showing the “Quick notes” feature. It’s not possible to capture text while reading it in the browser; text must be typed as part of the note itself.
One of our major goals with Notetit was creating a simple web application that is easy to use and can be used anywhere. We also wanted to create a great experience for developers who want to create their own apps or integrated with their existing ones.
How it works:
Easy interaction : Instant keyboard, text box and link capture (link only if you want to add a URL to your note, not for capturing text on any site). So all you need to do is: text , save . We even made this easy by showing you the keyboard in the preview, so that anyone can play around.

Just press Ctrl + Shift + X ; it’ll let you adjust highlighter size and text wrap width without reloading the page

Assign Tasks and Add Reminders
Notetit’s built-in task list keeps you focused and lets you add due dates and reminders, so you can stay on top of your work. When a task is due, Notetit sends you a reminder. Add tasks whenever you need them. When you’re done with a note, hit “mark as complete” and let other people know that one is done.
Note that you can also tick off notes as complete by tapping on the checkbox in the Action Bar.
You can edit an action item by tapping on it. The Task Details screen will appear. From here, you can set due dates and reminders, as well as change its priority level.
Tasks also appear in your Day View and Month View calendar views, making it easy to stay organized — and on time.

Annotate Your Notes & Scan Documents
NOTE: This is a very short, simple introduction. The full article is much longer. If you have any questions or comments, please write me at @inga.galupovska.
The article will be about how to annotate your notes and scan documents and talk about all the benefits of scanning documents.
This article will discuss how to use NoteIt, an app that can help you take notes, highlight text and leave your notes looking professional with a few taps of your finger on the screen. We will also talk about other great apps for taking notes as well as best practices for scanning documents in order to make them accessible to others who may need them.
If you need to take notes on your mobile device, you may have several options. There are several note-taking apps available on the Google Play store. Some of these are free, while some will require payment.

Import Files and Manage your Files in a Digital Folder System
Notetit comes with a built-in web-based file manager that allows you to import files to Notetit and then annotate them. In Notetit, you can use this tool to scan documents, PDF’s and other files directly into your notes. You can also take a screenshot of a document (by pressing “Screenshot”), annotate it, and then insert it into a note.
The file manager can also be used to upload files that have been uploaded to the cloud (e.g. Google Drive, Dropbox, or another cloud service) or on your computer.
You can see which folders are synced to your account and what has already been imported by viewing the folder detail page in the file manager. The page will show you a list of all notes that contain content from that particular folder.
The file manager is a great tool for managing your files in Notetit and is available from the sidebar menu.
