Size of the garden
If the location is right, it is not too difficult to find a garden that fits your needs. The size of the garden is defined by how much space you have, how many hours you can devote to gardening and what plants you want to grow.
Before deciding on the garden size, you need to consider space for landscaping and pathways to your house. If you do not have enough land for an outdoor kitchen, a large garden would not be the best choice. Since it is rather difficult to find a good site if you are using all ove the property, look for a smaller garden with adequate path ways, water and electricity.
When deciding on the size of your new garden you need to take into account how much time you can devote to planning, maintenance and harvesting. If you are going to be very involved in the maintenance, design of the garden and harvesting, then a larger garden is better. Be sure to plan a layout that is easy for you to move around.
