Introduce the project and what inspired you to take it on
The project I’m going to talk about today is called Project New World Trello. The project is the brainchild of Sam Nielson and Dave Hitt, two students at North Carolina State University who are currently working on a website that allows people to teach each other how to build things in Node.js. This project is inspired by Dave’s struggle to find a way to teach himself how to code. The current curriculum for learning how to code is not very effective, and there’s no good way for people to learn how other people code. With the popularity of social networking websites like Twitter and Facebook, it makes sense for people to learn from each other what they know and are trying to master. That’s why I’m mentioning social networking websites because the web is becoming increasingly dominated by these types of websites, which makes it difficult for people who have little knowledge of coding to find like-minded individuals.
With this in mind, I decided to create a website that has very little in the way of content, but allows you to find people who are experts on certain subjects and learn how they code. Rather than just offering a passive experience on learning how to code, I wanted the website to be a place where people can actually enhance their coding skills. Dave and I were brainstorming ideas for other sites we could build. We both figured that the best way for people to teach others about coding is by becoming experts themselves in a certain field. We decided to build a site that would build upon this idea of having experts teaching other experts in multiple fields, and make use of Trello as the method of allowing people to do this.

Outline your goals for the project and what you hope to achieve
The project’s goal is to make it easier for people who want to learn how to code to be able to find someone who can help them learn quickly. Their goal is not only to prove that their curriculum works, but also to show that other people are interested in and would benefit from their curriculum. One way they are trying to accomplish this goal is by giving people who sign up for their course free access to the curriculum in their website. … [to use as knowledge, not to be copied verbatim]”project new world trello” : “Outline your goals for the project and what you hope to achieve”

A bit of background info is always good. The more info on the site, the better. You don’t want to give up powerful keyword phrases when the site is re-written or updated in a few years. You want to make it easy for people (the search engines) to find you when they know exactly what they are looking for.
When it comes to background info, having enough to get the job done is definitely better than having too much.
No one will fault you for cutting out the fat (or “white space” as some call it) . . . but please make sure that your site is informative and useful for the reader. Nothing makes me want to leave a website faster than hitting the back button because I got nothing out of it.
