Introduce your blog and what it’s about
Every day, we receive messages and inquiries from people who are struggling to find a way to express their feelings after they have experienced some form of abuse, neglect or trauma. They tell us that they’re not sure how to talk about what happened, or don’t know who will listen. They’re nervous about sharing their experiences for a variety of reasons. They may worry that they will be blamed or judged harshly. They may be self-conscious about their writing. And sometimes, they are simply not sure how to begin.
We’ve created this series of posts to provide people with some basic tools that they can use to share their stories with the world. We hope you find it useful!
The best place to start is by introducing yourself and your blog by sharing a little bit about what you write about, why you blog and why you started your blog in the first place. Here are some questions you might want to consider:
Describe the purpose of your blog in a sentence or two.
Share a few images of your favorite home renovations that you’ve seen online or in magazines
We believe that everyone deserves to let their story be heard. Everyone deserves to be heard, and everyone deserves to feel safe when they do so. We are working hard to help make that happen by building a platform where survivors can choose to use their own words or share a visual representation of what they’ve experienced. We’re working to make it easy to tell your story.
As part of this effort, we want to invite you to share a few images of your favorite home renovations that you’ve seen online or in magazines. (Don’t forget to consider the size of your wall and the plan for how this would be hung if you were doing it).
If selected, we’ll print your submitted images and hang them in our office. We’ll take photos of the wall and share them on social media (including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter).
We’re looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Explain why you love these renovations and what makes them unique
We are not here to tell you what your home should look like. We want you to find the renovations that speak to you because they represent who you are and what kind of person you want to be. We believe that everyone deserves a safe, beautiful and purposeful environment in which they can live and thrive. We hope you’ll find these renovations resonating with you, because we want to help you spend the rest of your life in a place that is both beautiful and functional.
When we designed the renovations for you, we spent a great deal of time thinking about your needs and what matters most to you. We didn’t want to see a normal home but instead, a home that is full of love and memories.
We hope you will find this photo series as inspirational and motivational as it was for us to create them. Take the time to view these renovations through our eyes and let us know what you think in the comments below. As you explore the renovations and see the changes that we implemented, tell us about your experiences.
We would love to hear about what you’re finding around the space and how it makes you feel. Is there anything that needs fixing or additional work? What have you installed or removed in your home? Lastly, please give us feedback on our design by sharing your thoughts on each renovation in the comments below.
We are so happy to have been a part of your beautiful journey. We hope you will enjoy these renovations as much as we enjoyed creating them for you.
To your new home and the best life that is possible, From here forward.

(NOTE: the amount of work that it takes for a renovation to be completed can vary a great deal. However, the most important factor is to purchase quality materials, and take great care in ensuring that everything fits properly and looks good. We are also looking to provide good instruction, so that you can have a successful renovation and renovation project may take longer than originally anticipated. If you would like to see progress photos, we can do that, although there may be cost associated)
Many of our renovations are for very specific rooms in your home as well as entire home renovations. We can provide custom quotations for any job and are fully licensed, bonded and insured.

Include images of your proposed renovations, as well as before-and-after shots if possible
