Instagram is a very popular photo sharing platform that allows its users to post, view and comment on photos. It has become one of the most used social media platforms in recent years and is followed by millions of people across the globe. Instagram allows its users to send direct messages (DM) which is a private message between two Instagram users. The DM is not seen by the person you are messaging or their friends. This can be used to carry out conversations with the other person without others knowing what you talk about or what photos you view as well as your direct messages history.
The photos that are posted on Instagram can be viewed in a few different ways. There is the obvious way of viewing a photo which means scrolling to the bottom of the photo and tap on it. This will take you to a page where you can view the photo, comment, like and send direct messages. Another way of viewing photos is by searching for them. If you want to see a photo of Beyoncé, you can just search for her name, and it will show up. And then there is the most obvious way of seeing photos which is via direct messages.
Step 1: Tap “Direct” at the Top of Your Feed
Direct Messages are one of the top three options at the top of your Instagram feed. On the left-hand side of your Direct Messages, you need to tap it in order to view your conversation history. This is a great way of seeing all the conversations you’ve had.
Scroll down the page to view all your past conversations. At the end of every DM will be a date and time stamp with a little camera icon next to it, which is used for taking photos for Instagram or Facebook.
