What is a stat counter and how do you use it on Tumblr

When you post on tumblr, your content is likely seen by a lot of people. Some of them might like or reblog it and share it with their friends too. A stat counter is an online tool that shows how much interaction your post has had when compared to other posts on the site. It can tell you at a glance how well your tumblr blog is doing in terms of interaction.
Why Should You Check Your Stat Counter?
If you want to make sure your blog is as popular as it can be, check your stat counter. It will tell you how many people are seeing it, how much they are interacting with it (retweets and favorites) and what programs have shared it. This information can help you understand where your blog should go next.
What Do You Need to Check a Stat Counter?
There are loads of different stat counters that all tell you a bit different things. In this article I will show you how to use one of the most popular stat counters: Tumblr.
To check your stat counter, click on the little “i” at the top left of your dashboard and go to “Account Settings”. There is a green box where it says “Tumblr Analytics”, just click that. It should take your to a page where you can enter in some information about how you are using Tumblr and then it will tell you what blogs are popular right now and how many people have seen them.

How to find your stats for your Tumblr blog

To find stats for your blog, go to the dashboard on tumblr. Then click on the gear icon on the dashboard and select “Help”. Here, you will see a page that has sections for “Your Blog”, “Marketing”, “Promotion”, and so on. One of the sections is called “Statistics”. Here, you can find some information about your blog stats.
There’s a little box below the section that says “Edit”. If you click on that box, you can enter all the details about your blog. The information will be assessed, and numbers will show up, showing how many people are visiting your blog.
This is very important to know if you want to improve the quality of your blog. If there are not enough people who read it and share it, you will not be able to make money as a blogger. You need loads of traffic in order to earn money from blogging.
There is also a link on the dashboard to your “My Blog”, which lists all the posts that are currently up.
Other statistics concerning your blog can be found in the parameters section. These include things such as how many visitors you have, what country they’re from, whether they come from a mobile phone or desktop computer and even whether they’ve read your blog in the past month.
In addition, you can see that your blog has been read by a date range and a number of people. Some statistics appear in the corner box. For instance, the number of times your blog was shared. This might be useful if you have been blogging for a long time and are wondering if it is worth continuing.

What the different stats mean and how to improve them

There are a number of stats on your blog, and each one tells you about a different part of your blog. The first one is called “Unique Views”, and this total number refers to the total amount of people that have looked at your blog. Next is called “Daily Views”, and this refers to the number of people who look at your blog on a daily basis. The third category is called “Replies”, and this is the total number of comments that have been left by followers who read your blog. The last one is the “Replies per day”, and this tells you how many of your followers reply to your posts on a daily basis.
If the Replies per day is high it means that there are many people leaving comments, but if you want to see what most people see you will need to go and check your stats. These next two stats will tell you how many people are actually seeing your blog. The first one is called “Permanent Visits”, and this refers to how many times a month someone arrives at your blog. The second one is called “Permanent Visitors”, and this refers to the number of times a month someone visits your blog.
If the number of Attracted Visitors is high but you are getting no visitors, then there is an easy step that you can take to improve the number of people that are going to your blog. The first thing that you will need to do is make a change on your blog. You will know when this change has been made when these next two stats start to rise.
The first one is called “New Pages Created”, and this quarter refers to the number of pages being put up every month by your blog. The second one is called “New Posts”, and this refers to the number of posts you put up every month. If you are getting a lot of traffic but your unique views are low then the first thing that you will want to do is insert adsense into your site.

Examples of stat counters and what they show

The stat counter on tumblr is more than just a total number of individual posts. It can also tell you how many people have looked at your blog in the past one, two, or three months. The stat counter is used to show you how well your blog is doing since it shows you the interaction that you are getting with your blog. This includes page views, replies, and the number of followers. Furthermore, you can use this page to show how individuals interact with your blog. This stat counter can help you make an informed decision on whether or not your blog is gaining popularity or not
Google Analytics makes it easy for bloggers to have an understanding of their traffic and how they are receiving attention from their audience. This helps you make intelligent decisions on what kind of ads to run, what sort of posts you should and shouldn’t write, and a whole lot more.
Although there are several stats that Google Analytics can provide, the most popular is the total number of visitors. This information can help you figure out if your blog visitors are coming from a specific location or from all over the world.
Some stat counters give you traffic rank which ranks your blog by showing you in descending order how your blog has performed on Google and other relevant search engines for keywords and topics. A high traffic rank gives your blog a boost in the search engines as it is seen as a sign of authority and it identifies you as a leader in your niche.
