Introduction: What is Procreate?
Procreate is a painting app for the iPad. If you have an iPhone, there are also apps for that. If you do not have an iPad, you can use the app on your Mac if it’s running macOS Sierra and has an Apple Pencil or trackpad set up to work with a display (or iOS). Procreate costs $19.99. The price goes up to $39.99 if you want a package of three graphic packs (different art styles) that include the default, Corelle, and Illustrator graphics packs.
Procreate has a wide range of functions that can be used to draw and paint. The iOS app is not as diagram-heavy as some of the other drawing apps available. When you first open Procreate, the dock will have a few icons on it. The three main icons are “Viewing Images,” “Modifier Tools,” and “Drawing Tools.”

What are the Drawbacks of Using Procreate?
Procreate has a lot of advantages, but there are some things one should know before getting it. First, procreate is not easy to use. All the useful features and functionalities are hidden behind a screen that looks like–and functions like–a regular iPad painting app. This feels counterintuitive because it only gives you two options: basic mode or advanced mode. If you switch to advanced mode, you can choose a variety of features such as the brush controls, but you cannot get back to basic mode until you shut down procreate and open it again. Also, a professional artist may want to create in their typical style, but the stylus is not an option. If you don’t have an actual paintbrush, you may have to use your finger–or a marker pen–to draw. Procreate also has some bugs that can be frustrating. For example, you cannot paste images directly from the app into your images, and textured brushes don’t interface with your photos correctly. And while drawing in the air, there is a slight lag before each line appears (although this can be overcome by tilting the iPad).

How to Unlink and Remove an Account from ProCreate on MacOS Computer
Step 1: Go to System Preferences, then Click iCloud and then click Sign Out. Then go to your computer’s menu, select “System Preferences,” and choose “iCloud.” That will take you to the webpage for managing iCloud accounts. Select the account for which you want to remove access from Procreate. The Mac will ask you if you would like to remove the iCloud account. It’s best to say “yes” and click remove, but it can be said “no” if you do not wish to delete the account.
Step 2:Go to the app Preferences, then click “Organizer”. When you open the organizer, you should see your iCloud Account listed at the top of the screen, check off next to “iCloud” then go back to your menu and click the Apple logo in the upper left corner and click “System Preferences.” You may need to click iCloud again for it to take effect.
