Choose your target
First, decide on which co worker you want to engage. In general, they are easy to identify. They have a certain amount of time at their desk every day and they seem kind of selfish as they would typically take up three or more seats where one person can sit. However, this is not a hard and fast rule by any means. You want to get the attention of your target and there are a variety of ways to do so. One of the trickiest ways is to just suddenly and without any warning, get right up in their face. You need to be at least one foot away or the individual will most likely run away or call you a freak. There are other methods that can be used though and both methods have their pros and cons.
Start rumors about them
A good way to get your target’s attention is to start rumors about them. This is not gossip, but a subtle form of nagging. You’d be surprised at how often co workers will ask you about something that you said in passing or to them alone. You can use this as a way of starting the rumor mill on your target, so that they are never without someone telling them that they are lazy and stupid and . . . whatever it is that bothers you about them.
“Hey, guess what I heard about Jim? . . . . He sleeps with all the women in the office!”
Take on a very mysterious air when you do this. Don’t laugh at them, or act like you don’t want to tell them more. When they ask, just shrug and say, “Well, I didn’t hear it from me.” and walk away.
Some of your co workers might take the opportunity to confirm that you are right and tell them what they should do to “make sure Jim doesn’t sleep with any of the women in this office again.” When they do, you can say, “Oh yeah, told ya. He sleeps with all the women at work.”
The key thing about starting rumors is not to let anyone else confirm it for you. If you do, then it won’t be a rumor to the others.
Gossip to other coworkers
Make sure that you’re always available to gossip to other co workers. They will be very curious and interested in what you have to say about your target, even though you’re not “really” talking about them. Don’t take the conversation too far, but make sure that everyone knows what your target does after work. You can also start rumors about them at this time as well.
If you gossip too much, you’ll be seen as a sore loser and people won’t want to work with you. But if the boss sees that you’re the one sending the gossip, he may try to make your life miserable in other ways.
There is no real penalty for gossiping. It can be used to blackmail, but if people think that’s what you’re doing, they’ll refuse your demands.
You won’t get fired for being mean or not helping other coworkers out too much.

“Gossiping is a big no no. You will be seen as a sore loser or feel like saying mean things behind their back. That’s something that will make you lose friends in a very short period of time.
If your boss finds out that you’re behind all the gossiping, he may not be very happy with you. If he finds out that you don’t act like a good team player and aren’t helping other coworkers out too much, he might fire you.
Get them in trouble with their boss
This may not be true all the time, but it’s worth a shot anyway. Contact their boss and tell them that your target came to work late or perhaps they were goofing off. In fact, this is a good way to get your target in trouble with their boss. A good way to do this is to bring up an example when you saw them being lazy or stupid and then say that you thought they were doing a good job, but then it turned out that they had been goofing off. By playing on the boss’s sympathy, you should be able to get your target in trouble with their boss.
PROS: This method is rather effective and has a good chance of getting your target fired.
CONS: Sometimes this may not work. Sometimes people don’t think it’s fair to fire someone just because someone else said so. In addition, some bosses don’t care if someone goofs off or not and they may not care if you complain about it to them.

Sabotage their work projects
If your target has a big project due, do what you can to ruin it. Perhaps there’s some new software that they’ll have to learn to use and you can be sure to make them feel stupid for not knowing about it by that time. Or perhaps you can change their workstation so that the monitor is angled so that it’s too far away for them to see their work properly.
If you have to, you can even break the thing that they’ll be working on. Make sure that it’s not your target, though! You don’t want legal action thrown at you for vandalism.
You don’t necessarily want to mess things up too much; try to find ways to make it look like an accident. Perhaps you noticed that the machine in question was offline and could easily be turned back on and running properly with a quick press of a button. Perhaps, too, you can make it look like the machine was already broken when it was not in fact. Getting caught isn’t terribly likely, I’m sure you’ll be able to pull this off.
