Seatbelts are a good idea for keeping occupants of your car safe, but you don’t want to be bothered by the constant beeping of the seatbelt alarm. It is possible to disable this warning system if your Toyota Corolla is equipped with a seat belt reminder system. You need to disengage the reminder system by holding down the seat belt buckle for three seconds and release it when you see the “B” in red on your dashboard display panel.
Step 1: Turn on the ignition and start your car, if you have a manual transmission, put it in reverse and shift down to the first gear. If you have an automatic transmission, put it in gear and depress the clutch.

Toyota Corolla 2020 – How to Disable the Seat Belt Alarm
A couple of years ago, I was looking for a specific solution to disable the car’s seat belt alarm. I could not find the answer using internet resources which is why I’m posting this here. I hope it helps others. It is for a Toyota Corolla 2020. The procedure is:
1. When you are in the car, turn off the ignition and pull the seat belt out.
2. When you get the error message, press and hold both buttons (Rear Seat Belt Reminder and Belt Reminder Off) until you hear 2 beeps. You will then see a new screen with password. Enter it in order to proceed.
3. Don’t let go of that buttons until you see another screen with “OK” button in it click it to exit out without saving your password again. It would take you back to the previous screen.
4. When you are in the car, turn off the ignition and pull the seat belt out.
