Introduction: Why You Should Use a Wireless Network and How to Connect with a Keyboard

Many electronics use wireless connections to communicate with external devices. Unless you use a wired connection, most computers and laptops are wireless, as are most smartphones and other mobile devices. Wireless connections also allow for greater data transfer speeds, making them popular among streaming video consumers and gamers. One of the downsides to a wireless connection is that it can be difficult to connect with your computer or device while they are in another room or another country. For example, if you are in another country, it can be difficult to connect to a wireless network when you are at home. Even if you are at home and are able to use a wireless internet connection, you may not be able to install software or access the internet while you are connected. This is especially true with laptop computers and mobile devices. The easiest way to connect with your computer when you are away is through an external keyboard. Using your wireless keyboard allows you to access your computer at all times, and can be a great advantage to travelers.
Even if you are already connected with a wireless internet connection, it can be difficult to find the connection in another room. The best way to connect with your computer is through a wireless keyboard. [1] By using this method, you will have better control over the connection and will have greater ease of access whenever you need it.
Wireless keyboards allow you the freedom to use your computer from anywhere. If you are at a friend’s house and want to look something up on the internet, a wireless keyboard allows you to easily connect with your computer. [1] Wireless keyboards also allow for greater connection speed when connected, which is essential for streaming video and gaming. Whether you are at school, work or traveling around the world, a wireless keyboard provides a great way to connect with your computer at any time.

If your computer is a Windows 8 machine, it should have a built-in app on the taskbar that allows you to access the Dell wireless network settings via keyboard.
In Windows 7, you can find the same network settings but it is located in a different section. To get to the wireless network setup page on your computer, click on your start button in the bottom left corner of the desktop. This will bring up a menu with three options: Computer, Control Panel, and Network Connections. Click on Network Connections to bring up all of your local wireless networks. The network you are looking for is the 2.4 GHz network, which is the most common.
