A browser is a software that allows you to surf the internet. They are necessary for anyone who wants to spend any time on the web. There are many different browsers on the market, but this article will focus on the most popular ones.
Chrome is made by Google but is also available as a mobile app for Android devices. It is fast and popular, and it updates itself regularly. Chrome has a feature called ‘Chrome Sync’ which allows you to sync browser history, passwords and bookmarks across multiple devices.
Firefox was once the most popular browser in the world, and although it’s popularity has been overtaken by Chrome, it is still widely used across many different platforms, including Android, iOS and Windows. It has the ability to sync a user’s preferences across multiple devices, but it isn’t available in an app form.
The different types of browsers that are available to download
There are many different types of browsers, but here is a list that explains what each one does: Browser – A browser is a software that allows you to surf the internet. It does this by having tabs, which are empty pages that will be loaded into these browsers. Example: Internet Explorer 6 and Mozilla Firefox 3-4
HTTP – Hyper Text Transfer Protocol, the protocol that allows websites to transport data from point A to point B.
HTML – Hyper Text Markup Language, the language in which web pages are created. The HTML contains instructions on how a browser should be displayed on a computer screen. Example: A browser displays even though it is not operating with HTML at all.
W3C – World Wide Web Consortium is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting Web standards and technologies. It is the main international standards organisation for the World Wide Web. The W3C also organizes the Web Standards Project. This project is to ensure that all browsers will follow these standards and that they are developed so they will remain an open standard, so much like HTML, everybody has access to it.

The benefits of using a shareware website to download browsers
The main benefit to downloading browsers from shareware sites is the fact that they are free. Another great thing is that they don’t require registration before you can download them. It allows you more time to figure out if you like the software or not. Also, these shareware websites have quite comprehensive lists of browsers, so you aren’t limited in your search.
Another benefit to using shareware websites to download your software from is that you don’t have to worry about viruses. According to many software analysts, quite a few freeware sites are riddled with computer viruses and other harmful programming. Since shareware sites aren’t focused on making money, they don’t have ads or other programs which can contain bugs. This makes the files much safer.
