what is a waking cloud
A waking cloud is a cloud that appears before an impending event. It is usually thick and black with greyish or white patches. It is visible on the horizon, often heralding bad news or impending doom. A waking cloud appears to be a dark mass of cloud on the horizon, before an impending storm, or before something unwanted such as a reverse in fortune. The clouds will appear to darken and grow in large numbers and become very thick and heavy before the event. On occasion they can form into balls or clusters of large masses, foreshadowing some major upset. The sky may darken and the air become still and heavy, making it hard to breathe.
When you are out on a walk or in nature, and you see this cloud, you must beware as it signifies a negative event is imminent. If the event is a positive one, such as the birth of a baby, it will be heralded by big fluffy white clouds. If there are thick black clouds, with no visible shape or pattern within them, then there is likely to be an impending catastrophe such as war or persecution. The individual must be prepared to weather the storm or be prepared to face the consequences.

how to make a waking cloud
Some folks lower their face to the ground and yell out loud four times: “Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up.” This is supposed to summon the clouds. Others use the rain dance to summon clouds. Yet still others use a sieve, a river or water. How do you make a waking cloud? By throwing rice at it! When the rice hits the ground in many places, clouds will appear and little puffy white balls of cotton will come floating up into the sky. The best time for this is in early March before the rice has even sprouted.
