What is a sapphire plug in and what does it do
The Sapphire Plug-in is a powerful, one-of-a-kind, open source plug in developed by Boris FX, the makers of Sapphire. It’s been used extensively since it was introduced in 1994 and is capable of anything the imagination can come up with. There is a whole book dedicated to it entirely, since it’s so complex.
The reason it’s called Sapphire is because the first version of Sapphire was a plug-in only made for the iMac. This is because when it was originally developed, nobody thought that there would be any need for such a plug in and so the author, who intended to make just a minor correction to iMac’s colored display, had no need for an “engine” (which he described as “a bunch of pebbles thrown at a windshield”) that would run on every other OS. He called it Sapphire. When he was planning to sell the plug-in, he changed the name to Boris FX, after a friend of his who made a humorous comment about how he was like the “king of Sapphire” (by this time, Boris had developed many more plug ins for other OSes).

How to install a sapphire plug in
There are a number of ways of installing this plug in, depending on your system and computer. If you have an operating system such as Windows, MacOS or Linux, you can simply download the setup files to install the plug in with a simple double click. If you have a machine with a DVD-ROM drive, then you can install it on your DVD-ROM. If you have a machine without any of these kinds of drives, you can download the files and even burn them to a CD-ROM. After that, you can start installing the Sapphire plug in.

Sapphire plug in reviews
Reviews for the Sapphire plug in are generally favorable. It has a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars on the NLE systems website and 2 out of 5 stars on Boris FX’s website. On Boris FX’s website, they state that it is “A Powerful Tool” but they also wrote that it “Is not as easy as some editors would like it to be”.
I will start off with the fact that, for the basic features it does have, it is really pretty good. For example, if you are just looking to make simple edits to a video and get by without a lot of control, this plug in is perfect. However, if you want more freedom and control (especially when working with specific effects), this plug in probably isn’t the best fit.
You don’t get very much out of the Sapphire plug in right away when you install it. For example, there are a lot of features that need to be unlocked with the software and it is time consuming.

Benefits of using a sapphire plug in
There are a number of benefits to using this plug in, for example, it can do many things that other plug ins can’t. For example, if you’re working on a project and you have to share it with someone else, then this plug in allows you to send it over the internet so that they can try it out. This is better than sending an AVI or a movie file of your project, which can take up too much space on your friend’s machine or in the email. Another good thing about this plug in is that it automatically saves your project as you work on it. This may not seem like a big deal to the beginner, but to the professional who is thinking and creating at the same time, this plug in can be helpful. It’s also beneficial because tracks and sources are easy to find. Everything is saved in different places, which makes it easy to access what you need. This plug in is relatively easy to use, as far as editing programs are concerned. The interface is simple, with only one main screen, that has the tracks and sources on it.

How to use a sapphire plug in
There are certain ways that you can use it, such as if you want to add a couple of audio effects or even video effects or transitions. You can add these effects after you’ve added your project to the track. If you’re working on a music project, then you will want to use the Sapphire plug in mostly to trim off the end of your music and put it back in. The same thing applies if you want to use it for cutting audio from one clip and splicing it into another clip. You do that by simply cutting off the end of a clip and putting it back in, then adding it to the beginning of your project. The same thing goes for video clips.
If you have certain effects, such as those that have to do with transitions, then you can add those effects after the project has been saved. When you save your project, it will create a folder on the hard drive called “Pixies.” In that folder, there will be another folder called “Sapphire Plug-ins.” When we open that folder in this case of the Sapphire plug in, we will see a bunch of files there. Now, we can add these effects if we want to by clicking on the file and dragging it into the folder of the project. Now, this is a quick shortcut way of doing that.
