LMS statuses are used for one purpose only, which is to be a status. Each of these statuses appears as text on your friends’ timelines and in their news feeds. If you have a page, you can use an LMS status to let those who have liked that page know about updates, events, or other relevant content.
To post a new LMS status from your timeline, login to Facebook. To post an LMS status from your page, login to Facebook as the administrator of that page. Once you’re logged in, click on ‘Post’ in the upper-right corner of your screen and select ‘Likes and Interests’ from the dropdown menu. This will take you to your LMS status options. If you have a private profile, you cannot use LMS statuses. However, if you are logged into a page instead of your personal profile, you can post an LMS status.
How to create an LMS status for Facebook
