What are cloud architects and what do they do
Cloud architects are mostly developers and engineers who work with cloud computing. they help design, build, automate and manage the environment of a given application or infrastructure from beginning to end: from determining what software is needed for the project, to adding features gradually over time to turning it into a scalable system that can reliably handle large amounts of traffic. Cloud architecture major has been growing steadily in the last few years as companies start realizing how important it is to have their own in-house cloud architects on staff. the industry of cloud architects is expected to grow around 6% by 2020.
Cloud architecture is a mix of both software engineering and software development. Cloud architects must be versed in both the technical and business aspects of an organization that is considering a cloud implementation. Many cloud architects are also computer scientists or engineers in the field of information systems or data mining so they understand how information systems should be designed for scalability and performance.
Cloud architecture encompasses several other disciplines like data modeling, mobile strategy, system administration, server administration, storage adminstration and telecommunications.
To be a good cloud architect, a candidate must possess the following skills:
* having technical expertise in one of the fields related to cloud computing like operating systems, databases, programming languages and application development.
* Excellent communication skills. developers and IT managers need cloud architects who can clearly explain the concepts of their work to project stakeholders.
* Ability to initiate projects and solutions.
* ability to work in a team as well as independently.
The following skills would also be beneficial for cloud architects:
* Good customer service skills. customer service is a big part of what cloud architects do since they interact with customers often.

How to become a cloud architect
The first and easiest thing you can do to become a cloud architect is to learn how to write code. Although this may seem obvious, there are many people in the industry who don’t know how to program. those developers need someone who can help them create a functional application or infrastructure. the best way you can demonstrate your skills is with programming projects and tutorials on your website or blog. you can also build an education portfolio on you website, which will improve your reputation as a cloud architect. Cloud architects need to know how to code, specifically in: java, python, ruby and php.
Cloud architects need to be familiar with the architecture of the cloud. In this case, there are many solutions, such as AWS, OpenStack and others. A cloud architect is responsible for choosing the best cloud solution for their clients. also, knowing how to simplify complex processes is important in their work.
Another important skill is knowing how to analyze data and build charts and statistics based on this data. As an example, consider a small business that uses the cloud to store customer information and other valuable data on their computers or virtual machines. if a cloud data leak occurs, the business will lose this information. In this case, a cloud architect must be able to investigate the issue and find the source of it.

The benefits of being a cloud architect
Cloud architects can choose how to work, how much they want to be involved in the project and what their role is going to be. They get to decide whether they are more involved in the development of the software or the hardware. they usually get input from different people as well, including from customers and potential clients as well. This also means that cloud architects need a certain amount of business acumen and organizational skills, because all these people have a lot of ideas about what needs to be done differently or better. it’s also important for cloud architects to be both a people person and speak the language of engineers – after all, this is not only their job. It’s their passion. Cloud architects get to work with a variety of different tools and software, from databases management systems to operating system settings. this means that they get to use their programming knowledge even more than usual. What else can cloud architects do? As well as supervising development and helping programmers with any necessary programming, cloud architects get to examine the quality of the software. They can look at every aspect of the software, even non-functional requirements such as reliability and security. Cloud architects may also get to work on different challenges, from critical problems that need to be fixed with the utmost importance, such as security breaches, to less urgent tasks that won’t affect clients or customers too much. Cloud architecture is much more than just cloud infrastructure management and building software. it’s a profession where you can use and develop a wide range of your knowledge – it just takes a little patience and effort to succeed as a cloud architect.

The skills you need to be a successful cloud architect
you have to be a self-starter and have an entrepreneurial spirit. you need to be able to communicate well with different people, especially if you don’t know the same thing they do. it’s also important that you can figure out what the customer wants, no matter what the language is. it’s important that you are methodical and creative. you need to be able to handle time constraints and work under pressure. you need to know how to delegate tasks, so it’s important that you can ask for help when it’s needed. It’s also important that you are not afraid of learning new things, because there will always be something new coming up in your field.
Thinking of cloud computing today, we all have different thoughts from different perspectives. With the development of information technology, the trend of cloud computing is getting more and more popular. In the future, the trend will be increasingly vigorous.
Cloud computing not only changes the way we use technology; it also changes our lifestyle. This kind of intelligence will be increasingly pervasive in different aspects of our lives and has changed our way of thinking. It has shrunk the world and made it small. The information we have in this cloud is all about our life, and we need to safeguard it.

The future of the cloud architecture profession
the future of the cloud architecture profession looks bright, thanks to the growing number of Fortune 500 companies who are now using cloud services. they want to be able to create their own cloud architecture and get their own in-house developers. This is a good opportunity for inexperienced people starting out as freelance cloud architects, who can learn from people who have already been in this field for a long time. But it’s not just about experience – it’s about finding the right kind of client. you need to be able to understand what sort of client you will have and what they’re looking for. if you can match that, then there is no reason why you won’t succeed. For the past few years, I’ve worked as a freelance cloud architect and cloud engineer. and while I’ve had some success by choosing the right clients, I haven’t had any real success yet. So what has gone wrong?

Here are my top five tips for making it in this industry:
1) Talent matters – But not as much as people think. There are a lot of very talented people out there who never really make it in the industry. But it’s not all about talent. many top firms struggle to find the right people and end up hiring inexperienced people-either novices or those with a limited knowledge of this industry and they experience failure. it’s important to be talented but also to be able to adapt quickly and listen to your client’s needs.
2) Find the right clients – The key here is finding the right type of client, who will appreciate the services you provide and reward you for your efforts. This can be tricky. I have seen companies that are all too happy to hire people who have no relevant experience and then send them to a conference to change their minds (with no training, of course!) and suddenly they become experts. This is not the way you want to get it right.
