Which software is better for you
If you are a beginner or casual artist, we highly recommend trying out Clip Studio for its simplicity and ease of use. If you are more serious about art, you might want to consider SAI because it is easier to navigate and has more features. However, there are some other drawing software packages that can be used later on to help you with drawing and its features are similar to Clip Studio.
In our opinion, these programs are good tools that can be used in drawing. For example, you can choose whether to use the brush or the pencil tool in your programs. There is even a special pen size from which you draw.
If you want to draw with the pencil, we recommend downloading Paint Tool Sai. It allows you to draw with a wide variety of pens and brushes, making it easy for beginners and those who are not familiar with the software.
