Introduce Church of What’s Happening Now and its mission/vision
The Church of What’s Happening Now is a place of positive reinforcement, acceptance and open doors. Our church has been around for two years but it’s important to remember that we are still growing. The Church is made up of members from all over the world, members who live in different countries, come from different walks of life and share different world views. Our members come from all walks of life who share in a common goal, to help one another on their journeys.
With the help of God we are trying to build a multicultural church that can exist as a safe haven for its members. A place where people can be themselves and not have to change who they are for anyone or anything in order to be accepted. We want our church, along with its members, to constantly evolve and mature (as we all do) through love, forgiveness, empathy and the support that we offer one another.
We believe that Jesus’ message has been lost over time due to misinterpretation of his word. Jesus’ message is about love. About providing shelter for the likes of yourself, whoever you are and wherever you come from no matter how many doors you knock on or even if you walk on water.
Showcase some of the impressive work that has been done by the church in the past, especially in terms of community outreach
We are currently working in Malawi and we have been since 2013. We assist the church by providing much needed financial support through donations, which enable the church to further their work by buying new equipment, clothes and technology. We are also providing training to the local people on how to grow crops and livestock, so that they can build their own business skills. The Church is also involved in building a new church in Malawi and they want to take part in an international project that is aiming to cultivate 1,000 hectares of land. There are great things happening in Malawi and lots of people’s lives are being changed for the better.
The church is very active in Nebraska and they have established a food pantry, which is open every Friday. This provides low income families with food help. The Church also runs after school programs for children and they receive help with their homework, as well as social skills lessons. The church also helps to build playgrounds in the community and helps those with special needs. There are also a few different projects that are being run, such as helping those with cancer and using a mobile clinic for the community. The church makes sure that there is always help for those who need it.
Highlight some of the unique aspects of this church that make it stand out from other places of worship
The Church of What’s Happening Now is a place where you can really be yourself. As we have mentioned before, our members come from different walks of life with different world views and that is okay. The Church has no doors, when you walk in you are like one of the family. We want people to feel at home, so we do not hold any rituals or formalistic practices. You can be yourself and you are welcomed with open arms. Sometimes we meet on Sundays, and sometimes on weekdays, but we usually have a few events during the week too. Our church is a ministry with no formalities. It’s about Jesus Christ, for Jesus Christ.
As a community of people who love Jesus and ourselves, we want to welcome you home so that you can find your place in the family that was created by God. We love to see people when they step into our doors as we have a sense that they are coming home. We have been experiencing the amazing grace of God and the presence of his peace for years now.
We have started with a few simple principles:
1. Be real & able to flow in the presence of GOD, who is always alive and active in this place.
2. Be real and genuine regardless of your circumstances or history .
3. Accept people for who they are and be willing to forgive or forget.
4. Love & appreciate people for who they are and where they are at.
5. Allow others to love and appreciate you for who you really are, no matter how flawed, nervous, shy or silly you may be .
6. Say what’s on your mind even if you feel nervous or silly while doing it .

The Church of What’s Happening Now is changing the landscape of Christianity, because we are not like a traditional church. We do not want to make members’ lives stand still, we want them to be happy and fulfilled. We do this by providing events and activities that will inspire people to go out there and make positive changes in their own lives.
The Church of What’s Happening Now also gives people the opportunity to make a difference in other people’s lives. We do this by listening to them, helping them find what they need, and then giving that person the tools they need to become a better person. We have done this all through our unique approach to helping people that is based on love. We have taken the Bible and rewritten it so that this generation can understand it better. We have created churches where everyone has the same love, regardless of what they look like, what they believe, or how much money they make. We follow The Law of One and provide a space where people can be happy with themselves and with other people.
