Introduce the concept of cars on demand and how it works
Cars on Demand allows you to request rides, use their carpool service, and sell a vehicle, all for free. They match you with people in your area who are looking for a ride to work or home and you can pick them up and drive them. You don’t need to do anything special like picking somebody up at their location or a designated pickup spot.
FACT: Carsharing is not just a practical idea but an essential lifestyle tool if you want to save money, save time, help the environment, and reduce the risks of climate change. Join us in helping to make it a reality!
Cars on Demand has been operating in San Francisco since 2008. They have thousands of members in the Bay area. Their service is available on iOS and Android.
##How does it work? [what is it, how does it work]
Cars on Demand matches you with people in your local area who are looking for a ride to work or home. You can also see a grid of all cars available on the map and where they are located, making it easy to get around when you need one. You can request a car without being connected through your device within minutes if you’re nearby. A car on demand is available 24/7.

I used cars on-demand when I lived in the San Francisco metropolitan area. I had a full-time job and was commuting to a part time job located in Palo Alto. The service made it really easy to find rides to and from work and I used their carpool service many times throughout the day. We plied our way through rush hour traffic during morning commutes with a box of donuts as payment! We picked up extra riders every now and again so that we could avoid paying for parking at the same time. I know that some of my friends also used the service often. You can set your own schedule, join a carpool, or request rides as needed. I have used their carpool service to get me to a train station late at night when I was leaving work late. It made it super easy to get home and a very cheap ride.
I had noticed that I was spending a lot of money on cars on-demand and wondered if they were really as reliable as they said they were. I was really impressed with how easy it was to control how many people were in the car, who picked it up, and where we went. The service has declined in recent years because of the stock market and competition from other transportation companies with more reliable services like uber. I think that cars on-demand has been burdened with a lot of management over the years and it just got to be too much. I really liked how this service worked and I felt like they did a good job!
I was looking for something similar, but it did not seem available in my area. This is a very good alternative to cars on-demand and I suggest looking into what they have to offer. There are plenty of new options out there for you though, so you should check these services out as well.

Discuss the pros and cons of using cars on demand
The service was well organized and made it easy to find people who would take me to my destination. I usually had a response within 5 minutes during rush hour, which is faster than most taxi services can get you there. The price of a ride was cheaper than a taxi and if you carpool, the price can end up being cheaper than driving your own car. I had a car and drove to work and from some meetings, but I also used the service during lunch time and to get home late at night. You set your own schedule as a driver, so it is a flexible job that you can take on when you need extra side income. There is a lot of freedom as a driver and you can decide your own hours and rates.
However, there is a lot of competition for rides in Manhattan, so it was hard to get enough rides to make much money. Also, there is no control over the quality of cars used by the companies using cars on demand and some of the cars are older models in pretty bad condition.
Offer your own opinion on whether or not you would use this service
I thought that the cars on-demand service was very convenient. You can set your own schedule and take rides when you want to. The carpool service is comfortable for passengers and you can pick them up at any location in your area. If you are commuting to a train station late at night, it makes it easy. You can catch the bus and get dropped off right in front of your car. You can also offer rides to people who need a ride home or to work. If you are interested in meeting new people, this service is perfect for you. We met a lot of interesting people through this service. In the carpool service, you share a ride with a random person. The carpool/ride-share site also offers you the opportunity to find new friends and make new connections. You can offer rides to someone who is making a restaurant reservation, who wants to meet up with friends or is going on vacation. I am glad that I could take advantage of this service for free for a long time. After six months of free usage, I had to pay $7 per month for the membership fee. This is a great service to try. See what it is like and if you like it, then continue using it.
