What does Avast offer?
I’ll answer this question first! What does avast offer? Well, a lot – you can be totally sure that your device is protected from malware, viruses and spyware that is present in the wild. They protect workstations as well as mobile devices, PCs and Macs. They offer protection to networks and servers too which is great news for small businesses. Their range of programs is also very cost effective, with different plans available to suit everyone’s budget.
How to delete infected files with Avast
If you’re using Avast to help protect your devices, then you may have noticed that sometimes it will delete certain malicious files automatically. This is because when Avast scans for malware it will recognise if certain files are suspicious. It can then delete the file from your device, helping to ensure you don’t risk any damage. However, if you’re not sure which files are “infected”, then you might want to check your device details. Maybe it’s a good idea to do this before Avast deletes the file.
In this example we’re using an Android device.
If you head to your main system settings, you’ll see that you can view details about your device. This shows all the information about your device, such as the amount of storage available and total RAM. If a malicious file has been deleted by Avast, it will show a “special action” section in this list. This section shows any files that have been deleted. It will also show whether the file was malicious, or what type of virus was detected.
