How to Undo Changes in Pages Using Keyboard Shortcuts
There are three keyboard shortcuts which will not only undo a paragraph, but also every change made since the last undo. **Ctrl+Z** – Undo **Ctrl+Shift+Z** – Redo and undo **Ctrl+, (comma) / (period)** – Redo the last undo.
These shortcuts are very useful, but can be a bit confusing. Here’s an example to help you out. If you undo some text and then decide that you want to undo even further back, it’s very easy. Just return to your saved text and do the following:
1. Change the paragraph you want to undo
2. Press Ctrl+Z, then press **Ctrl+,**) / (period) (to redo your last undo). Note that the **comma** should be in lowercase. If not, it will not work. This is a single step undo, so no new paragraphs can be added after this point.
3. If you still want to continue, change the paragraph again
4. Press Ctrl+Z, then press **Ctrl+,**) / (period) (to redo your last undo). Note that the **comma** should be in lowercase. If not, it will not work. This is a single step undo, so no new paragraphs can be added after this point
How to Undo Edits on the Page Layout Screen of Pages on the Mac Computer
Edit all the changes you would like to undo. Then, on the page layout screen, select **Edit > Revert to last saved**. This will undo the changes you made on the layout screen of pages.
