Introduction: Why The Heck Should I Want to Unhide Instagram Posts?
Instagram is a great platform for sharing your daily thoughts, either through photos or short sentences that can be shared with your followers. When you first set up your account and you’re still new to Instagram, it’s normal to want to share as much as possible with the world. If you want to share your Instagram feed with friends, or if you want to share that new song that you’re currently listening to on Spotify, it will be difficult to do so without posting the link directly. For those times when you really need to share it with just one person or a small group, you can still do so with your Instagram links. However, this is where the problem begins…
Why The Heck Should I Want to Unhide Instagram Posts?
Steps for Viewing Hidden Posts and Notifications in Instagram
To view liked posts, tap on them once they appear at the top of this menu. To view hidden posts and notifications, tap the three dots in the top-right corner of your feed. To return to your main feed, swipe up on your screen or hit “back” once you’re done.
If these steps don’t work for you for whatever reason:
1) Uninstall Instagram from your device (this is only if you were using it on a mobile device before) 2) Go to instagram.com/about/instant_messaging and tap “Clear Browsing Data” 3) Go to your phone’s settings (this is only if you were using it on a mobile device before)

Why You Should Be Careful with the Activity Log on Instagram
Individuals who spend too much time on Instagram will develop the tendency to compare themselves to those around them. If you are scrolling through your Instagram feed and see a post from someone you know, you may feel bad about yourself, even if it is not directly being compared.
This worry can be amplified if the post is coming from someone who is close to you. If your significant other posts pictures of themselves at the gym, that may look like bragging. However, it may just be that they are proud of their hard work, and they should be!
Another thing to notice when looking at your friends’ Instagram accounts is that they have more interaction and have more followers than you do. Looking at your friends’ Instagram feeds may also make you feel pressured to have a lot of followers.
