Red
Red is a color that has many meanings. I’ve heard it described as being warm and passionate, similar to one of the emotions felt in love. Red is also the color of blood, which makes it a symbol for life. This could be why some people believe that red is an unlucky color. But in my opinion, the meaning of red only exists because humans have arbitrarily assigned it a meaning. In nature, there are many other colors that have the same meaning as red. Red is just one of them.
If you think about it, there are other colors that have the same meaning as red, even though they are different colors. For example, when someone says something is “red”, what they’re really saying is that it’s a color similar to crimson. In reality there are literally hundreds of other colors similar to red. Rather than just focusing on red, you should instead think of all the different variations of red that you can get. Then, your view on what color means what will change completely. For example, take a look at this picture:
Orange
Yellow is a color similar to orange in that it has many ideas. I’ve heard it described as being exhilarating, for example, similar to one of the emotions felt in happiness. It’s also the color of money and success. This could be why some people believe that yellow is an unlucky color. But in my opinion, the meaning of yellow only exists because humans have arbitrarily assigned it a meaning. In nature, there are other colors that have the same meaning as yellow: orange and red . . . but yellow is the best.
They say yellow is the color of warning, so it makes sense to me that if you see a yellow light, you know that a red light is about to follow. A lot of people view the color yellow as being optimistic. Some people believe this to be the case because it is similar to green and purple . . . but I think it has something to do with its association with butter and flowers.
Yellow
Yellow is a color that has many meanings. In nature, there are other colors that have the same meaning as yellow: orange and red. But we don’t call them unlucky colors. It’s because we’ve made up a meaning for yellow that other colors with the same color appearance have been given names.
The reason why humans assign meanings to colors is because they perceive it’s easier to remember a color that has an accepted meaning than one that doesn’t. The reason why certain colors are considered lucky or unlucky is also because of this kind of human reasoning. There is no inherent connection between luck and the color yellow. But there is one thing that yellow is good at, which would be making humans easier to perceive. This can be described as the “color of liking.”
Before, when I was born I was called a “pink cub,” but there were no such things as pink cubs during my time. After I became a human, however, people began to call me that. From then on, since there were other people who were called pink cubs and many more born into the world, this name instantly became popular. It was like the word “cute” and made me more popular.
It’s because of this that I can’t help but think the world is interesting. The world is full of things like pink cubs, and they aren’t in the least bit cute.
Green
Green is a color that has many meanings. I’ve heard it described as being refreshing, for example, similar to one of the emotions felt in contentment. It’s also the color of money and success. This could be why some people believe that green is an unlucky color. But in my opinion, the meaning of green only exists because humans have arbitrarily assigned it a meaning. In nature, there are other colors that have the same meaning as green: blue, yellow and orange . . . but for some reason, we experience them differently. And so green came to have a meaning of its own.
In reality, the color green is not limited to the plant life that covers the surface of most planets like Earth. Green is also present in any object or living creature that absorbs red light and reflects the other colors of the visible spectrum. In humans, it’s present in our eyes and skin pigmentation.
Green can be seen in objects as far away as 30 light years from Earth. It can be seen in the strong light of a quasar, which is the core of a galaxy that contains billions of stars. We can even see it in astronomical events that occurred billions of years ago . . . as long as we have enough time to look back through space and time.
