What is call time on iPhone and what does it do
Call time is how long you’re on the phone. It’s also a feature in iOS 10 that lets you know how much time you’ve spent on your device. This feature can be found under Settings > Phone > Do not allow calls and then select Calls. This will allow you to see how long you’ve spent on calls and on the phone.
The time limit is different in different countries. In the US it’s 180 minutes, in Australia it’s 60 minutes, in France it’s two hours and in Brazil it’s 40 minutes. I don’t know why but every country has its own time limit for calls. Call time is a feature that helps you keep track of how much time you spend on your iPhone or iPad.

How to check your call time
Keep in mind, this is only in iOS 10. You can find the option under Settings > Phone > Do not allow calls. In this menu, you’ll also find an option to set timers for alerts if you want to limit your usage for the rest of the day. This can be useful for those times when you want to get off the phone for 5 minutes or an hour. Open the timer, and maybe do something else. Then, return to the Do not allow calls menu and make sure Calls is turned off so that you won’t receive any more calls.
That’s the quick and easy way to get rid of incoming calls. However, there are a few other ways to make sure you avoid distractions when you’re on the phone. All of these features require your iPhone to be off or in Do not disturb mode:

Why you should keep an eye on your call time
Whether you have concerns about your mobile time or not, keeping track of it is a good idea. If your phone keeps you connected to family and friends, it can also keep you disconnected from everything else. When you’re on the phone a lot, you’re not able to be as productive. There’s also research about how much time people spend on their phones, and the results are often pretty grim. Here’s a quick look at what you should know about the time you spend on your cell phone.
– In 2013, the average American burned 1609 minutes a month on their cell phones. That’s nearly 30 hours.
– According to Nielsen, the average American adult checks their phone every 6 and a half minutes. That’s more than 150 times every day!
– A 2012 study by PCMag found that 50 percent of iPhone users spent more than two hours on their phones during off-peak hours (like weekends). If you extrapolate that out over the course of a year, that’s an entire month.

How to extend your battery life
Before you turn your phone off at night, there are a few things you can do to make sure it lasts a little longer. First, go into Settings > Battery and tap on Auto-Lock. From there, you can set the time for when your phone will stay on before going to sleep. Another tip comes from Lifehacker: enabling Airplane Mode at night. Your phone will get a little more power, but you won’t be able to use it. That might help give it the extra juice it’ll need in the morning.
