compose and schedule tweets for multiple accounts
The Hootsuite Bulk Composer enables you to write tweet and schedule them for multiple accounts with a few simple steps. You can easily add accounts or create a new one while composing, or do so after the scheduled tweets have been created. Follow these steps to create and schedule a tweet:
1. Log into the your dashboard and click the compose icon to create a new message.
2. Click the “Insert” button (looks like an arrow pointing left) to open the Bulk Composer.
3. Click the “Add Accounts” button in the Bulk Composer window to select accounts to add as recipients of your tweet.
4. Click the “Add” button to select those accounts, and then enter subsequent information for each account.
5. Click “Compose” to create a tweet with the selected accounts and send it off using your chosen settings:
6. The scheduled messages will appear in your email inbox as soon as they’ve been created. To view them, click on the “completed” check box at the top of the Bulk Composer window.

create Twitter lists
To add Twitter accounts to your list, click the ‘+’ button in the top right corner. To create a new list, do so under the list header. Click on the new row in a list to get started! Now you are going to write your tweet. Add up to 50 accounts in the field provided.
Twitter, one of the most widely used social networking websites, facilitates communication with people all over the world. It holds a great potential however there is currently room for improvement in the system. To begin with, there are some things that everyone should know about Twitter, such as who owns it and how they operate it. [p.1]The Company Twitter was founded in March 2006 by Evan Williams and Biz Stone. It was originally known as Twttr and then changed to Twitter. [p.2] The first version of Twitter was open-sourced in March 2007 under the GNU General Public License v3. On January 10, 2009, Williams announced that he was stepping down as chief executive officer of the company and as a result, Jack Dorsey would become CEO. [p.3] Twitter began to attract more attention after it became involved in a conflict with the U.S. government over a denial of service attack on the site by the Iranian government. Twitter was accused of not cooperating with the Department of Justice’s investigation and it was asked to appear before a grand jury. Twitter responded to this request by stating that it had no reason to hand over information “as they have not been indicted or convicted of any crime”. [p.4]
add images to tweets
Add an image or video from your computer by dragging it into the tweet field. From the Twitter Media Section, click on ‘Upload Media’ and then follow the prompts. Note: Twitter image and video maximum dimensions are 15 and 32 pixels respectively.
This is a long-lived article. I’m not sure how Twitter’s image uploading feature works but it is safe to assume that pictures are limited in size. If you want to upload an image that’s larger than the 15 pixel limit, you’ll need write a script.
You can also paste an image into the tweet field by clicking the “Paste Image” button in the compose box:

The other option is to upload the image to Twitter and then add the URL of that image to a tweet. Here’s how you do it:
1. Add an image from your computer by clicking on the paperclip icon tool in the compose box:
2. Click on “Upload Your Photo” and fill out Form A:
3. Click on the “Choose File” button.
4. Follow the prompts in Form B:
5. Click on the “Add photo” button to submit form B:
6. You should see your image appear in the compose box (it may take a little while). Your image is now attached to your form. To save it, click on the grey paperclip icon (see step 1) and then click on “Insert into Tweet”:
7. You can now preview your tweet as usual:
use Twitter search to find content to share
Search Twitter to find content you want to share. Click the magnifying glass on the right of the compose box, and then click on a search result. The tweet will then be added to your Bulk Compose box.
Add the tweet to your Bulk Compose box by clicking the Add button. You can also edit it before adding it to your Bulk Compose box. Add as many tweets as you want and then click Publish when you are ready.
You can use hashtags in bulk composing, so if you have a hashtag that you want to promote, just type # in front of the hashtag and then a space before adding the tweet. This will add that tweet with that hashtag to your list of tweets.

track who’s talking about your brand on Twitter
In the top right of every tweet is a section called ‘Reactions’. This displays tweets that mention you, your brand, or contain your hashtag. This is a great way to track how your brand is trending, and for followers to view all the conversations about them. The second-to-top of the ‘Reactions’ section is a section called ‘Audience’. This displays messages from followers who are interested in your brand, and is a great way to engage. The third-to-top section is called ‘In replies to’. This displays the tweets that are most popular and most recent. This is a great way to gain insight into what people are tweeting at your brand. The fourth-to-top section is called ‘Best’. This displays the tweets that have received the most interactions (likes, retweets, or replies).
The fifth-to-bottom of the ‘Reactions’ section is called ‘Mentions of you’. This displays the tweets that mention your company and are often an indication of social traction.
