Tell a story about how you helped a friend or family member out in a time of need
Think about it this way: if you’ve got a story about helping someone out in a time of need, you have a great thing to talk about for when you’re interviewed. And the more of these stories that make it into your interview process, the better! It can be easy to come up with one or two examples – just think back to some recent circumstances where people needed help and how you helped them out.
It doesn’t have to be anything really major – it could be something you did for a friend or relative, or where you helped out at a charity event. You might have helped someone get a job (or promoted them when they got one) or maybe you fixed their bike. Whatever it was, make sure you focus on how much help you were able to provide and what purpose your help served in that situation.
You’ll also want to include examples that relate to why you’re applying for the job. The skills it takes to help a friend or family member out in a time of need are the same skills you’d use doing this job – research, analysis, problem solving etc. Just make sure you can tie it in with the job you’re applying for.

Describe an instance where you went above and beyond your job duties to help someone out
You’re doing your job, and you go the extra mile to help someone out. That sounds like a great story! Think about recent instances where you’ve helped someone out when your job description was strictly to help people who needed it. You’ll want to make sure that instance reflects what the company is looking for. If you’re interviewing for a job at Microsoft, then you definitely want to talk about an instance where you went above and beyond to help someone out with a computer issue.
If this story doesn’t reflect what the company is looking for, don’t panic. You have other stories to tell! What about an instance where you’ve worked on a team project (and you were assigned one of the roles that was less important than others but still important)? That would be another great story to share. Or maybe you could talk about an instance where you helped someone who was going through some hard times.
You’ll want to make sure that story has both a good beginning and a good ending. People want to know that your actions were justified, and they want to see how the situation played out in the end so they can see if your actions fit with their company values. Did things turn out okay?

Share an experience where you were able to make someone’s day just by being yourself
You get up in the morning and start getting ready for the day. You don’t have time to make a fresh pot of coffee, so you grab your travel mug and pour yourself a cold cup instead. You walk out of your room and head to the kitchen where you see your roommate has made a fresh pot of coffee, and you pour yourself a cup. You sit down at the table and begin drinking your coffee. That’s when you see your roommate smiling as she sits and chats with a friend on the phone about how wonderful it is to have her house-sitting job for a month. That’s when you realize what an amazing housekeeper she is, and how much she enjoys doing it.
That’s when you see your friends on Facebook having a blast with their group chat, joking and laughing about a recent movie that they saw, how awesome it was, and how much fun they had. Then you decide to get back into the conversation and join the conversation. That’s when you see all of those people who you know from online start sharing funny photos from their recent trip to the beach, how much fun it was, how amazing one of the events was, and all about what a great time they had.
That’s when you realize just how great your life is, and how much you have to be thankful for. That’s when you are reminded to be grateful for all that you have in life, all of the wonderful things that have happened in your life, and all of the great memories that you have been able to make. That’s when you realize how amazing it is just to be alive.

Talk about a time when you did something kind for no other reason than because it made you happy
This is a good example of something that shows you’re kind and caring. It doesn’t have to be something grand or special, like picking up someone’s dry cleaning or baking them a birthday cake. It can be as simple as buying your spouse a dozen roses after they had one too many glasses at happy hour. It’s easy to spot an example of kindness like this. When you see it, it’s because kindness is an everyday thing. You don’t have to think about it. It just naturally happens. And sometimes when things are going well for us, we get a little complacent and forget about being kind for no other reason than that the person deserves our kindness. But when you find yourself thinking that being kind might be a nice thing to do but definitely not something anyone really expects you to do, this is the article for you.

Explain how your loved ones have shaped who you are today
This is another example of how you would show the interviewer that you care about other people and have a good relationship with your loved ones. It might be telling them about how your mom always taught you to be kind and caring, or it might be sharing how your father was the one to introduce you to your favorite hobby. This can bring a smile to the interviewer’s face, even if it’s not a very serious story.
I believe in having a clear goal in life and that be kind, compassionate, caring and thoughtful. I believe that I am here to help make the world a better place. I know how fortunate some are to be born into circumstances which are better than others but this is not possible for everyone. It is up to us as a nation to ensure that every person has opportunities to live their dream life.
Over the years, my life has been shaped by those who cared for me. My parents, especially my father, strongly encouraged me to pursue the things that I enjoy and truly want to do. While growing up, they taught me that it is important to take chances in life and not live in a box. They taught me how important it is to always be my best self and also how important it is to learn from every experience.
