SOCIAL MEDIA: Viennese Court orders Facebook to remove hate speech posting worldwide

Following the posting on Facebook of a link to an article containing a number of statements about her, an Austrian politician requested Facebook remove the posts. After Facebook refused to do so, the Court ordered Facebook not only to remove the post but to delete further identical posts in future, on a worldwide basis; the extent of the Court’s order has drawn particular attention.
