Belarus: Draft law on personal data to potentially unify personal data protection

The National Centre of Legal Information of the Republic of Belarus announced, on 4 July 2018, that the National Centre for Legislation and Legal Studies of the Republic of Belarus had issued a draft law on personal data (‘the Draft Law’) for public discussion. Andrei Yorsh, Partner at Baker & McKenzie CIS Limited, summarises the potential changes to personal data protection in Belarus under the current Draft Law.
