Pakistan: Draft Bill a stepping stone towards an individual’s right to privacy

The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications (‘MOITT’) introduced, on 6 July 2018, the draft Personal Data Protection Bill 2018 (‘the Draft Bill’) which outlines consent requirements, data subject rights and penalties for non-compliance.
