SingHealth data breach: lessons learned

Between 27 June and 4 July 2018, hackers targeted computer systems belonging to SingHealth, Singapore’s largest healthcare institution, and obtained the personal data of 1.5 million patients. Of these, 160,000 people also had their outpatient prescription records stolen, and this included prescription records belonging to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong as well as senior members of his cabinet.
